Program Manager Mary Johnson joined Polaris MEP to lead the Manufacturing Innovation Challenge, and now connects manufacturers with strategic business services that foster and accelerate growth. Mary concurrently manages the 401 Tech Bridge and serves as the Executive Director of the Rhode Island Textile Innovation Network. She brings more than 20 years’ experience maximizing growth in small businesses and mission-driven not-for-profit organizations. A transplant to Rhode Island who has developed strong roots here, Mary serves on the board of Rhode Island Students of the Future, which promotes science, technology, engineering, math, and leadership skills through robotics. She is the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Warwick Public Library and sits on the advisory committees for the Rhode Island Computer Museum and the Providence Mini Maker Faire. Mary has a degree in theatre from Roger Williams University.
