Viveiros’s recommendations targeted smaller manufacturing company readers and encouraged them to “start with small steps in these two critical areas.”
Viveiros advice included:

- Set KPIs for supply chain performance.
- Develop a training plan for each department.
- Use the SCOR Model to standardize processes.
- Make supply chain management relevant across your company.
