A Knight of Opportunity: Alumni Excellence & Opportunity Gala
Join the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) Foundation and Alumni Association on Friday, October 16, for A Knight of Opportunity, an evening celebrating alumni achievement, community partnerships, and the power of education to create opportunity.
This new signature event brings together two CCRI traditions, the Raising Opportunities Gala and Society of the Knights Induction Ceremony, for one evening of celebration and connection.
The event will recognize three distinguished 2026 Society of the Knights inductees: Joseph J. Greene Jr. ’84, Cathy L. Picard-Tessier ’84, ’90, and Michael F. Sabitoni ’88, honoring their professional accomplishments, community service, and continued connection to CCRI.
The evening also supports scholarships and other resources that help CCRI students pursue their educational and career goals. Alumni, business leaders, community partners, students, faculty, staff, and friends of CCRI are invited to celebrate the people and partnerships helping build Rhode Island’s future workforce.
