This introductory workshop is part of the NERDIC Industry 4.0 Readiness Ecosystem program for small manufacturing enterprises in the defense supply chain. 

RAM Engineering Solutions will explain what Model Based Definition (MBD) is, how it is applied, how it is used & reused and how MBD is the basis of digital thread as it relates to a company’s Digital Transformation. ‘Digital Transformation is no longer a ‘nice to have’, it’s become the foundation of remaining competitive and sustained success.

The New England Regional Defense Industry Collaboration (NERDIC) will deliver a series of Industry 4.0 Readiness workshops and demonstrations to showcase how emerging technologies can be used to help optimize manufacturing processes in the New England defense manufacturing supply chain.
