By training internal auditors you can cut costs, save wasted time, identify continual improvement activities and improve your team’s confidence and that of your customers.

This virtual course prepares manufacturers for real-life auditing situations through a combination of classroom training and interactive exercises.

You’ll strengthen your team’s ability to continually improve your QMS by conducting a successful ISO 9001:2015 internal audit.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Employees will be trained to facilitate the process of performing an internal audit per ISO 9001. Topics covered include and are not limited to: review of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Requirements standard, audit planning, audit execution, audit reporting.

Learn how to:

  1. Describe the ISO standards and identify ISO 9001:2015 QMS terms
  2. Determine evidence needed to satisfy a registrar audit
  3. Understand and apply the principles and practices of effective internal audits
  4. Determine the activities needed to successfully prepare for an audit
  5. Prepare effective reports

The virtual course includes 9 hours of instruction over 3 sessions — March 8, 15 and 22; 9am to 12pm each day.

Open to Rhode Island manufacturing companies/employees only.

Rhode Island Manufacturing consulting Project Manager Chris Cinieri

Rhode Island Manufacturing consulting Project Manager Chris CinieriWith more than 20 years of manufacturing experience working in a commercial food environment, Chris Cinieri has worked in production, distribution, and quality systems; most recently serving as a Continuous Improvement Manager.

As a Project Manager for Polaris MEP, he applies his experience to help Rhode Island manufacturing companies enjoy a successful journey to ISO Certification.

Chris holds a Quality Auditor Certification and a Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society for Quality and serves on the local ASQ leadership team.
