New England Institute of Technology Welding Facility Tour

You are invited to visit New England Tech’s Welding Training Program, part of our collaboration with the Rhode Island Department of Corrections and Polaris MEP. This initiative is designed to prepare motivated individuals for entry-level welding positions across the state.

During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Tour the training facility and observe hands-on welding instruction.
• Meet the students, who are currently incarcerated but nearing release and eager to begin careers in manufacturing and related trades.
• Learn about hiring incentives, including wage and training reimbursements available to employers who participate in the program.
• Connect with Polaris MEP and partner More Than Our Worst for further resources and support for interested employers.
