What Will It Really Take? Rhode Island’s Response to a Changing Federal Landscape
Polaris is a sponsor of the Economic Progress Institute’s (EPI) 15th Annual Policy & Budget Conference, taking place Monday, September 28, 2026, from 8:00–11:30 AM at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick.
This year’s conference will bring together policymakers, advocates, community leaders, researchers, business and philanthropic partners, and engaged Rhode Islanders to examine how changes in federal policy are affecting healthcare, food assistance, tax policy, workforce development, and economic opportunity across the state.
Attendees will also receive insights from EPI’s newly released 2026 Rhode Island Standard of Need Report, which examines what it takes for Rhode Island families to meet their basic needs.
