Bring Your Students to this Interactive, Engaging Exploration of Careers Making What Matters
In 2025, Polaris MEP will once again celebrate Manufacturing Month with an event that offers students a “taste test” of manufacturing careers.
Please commit your school to participating! Younger students may find the experience influences their learning pathways. Seniors (and your team) will learn more about post-HS opportunities.
WHAT:
A highly interactive and fun career event! Stations throughout the Providence venue will give students a chance to
• code a cobot,
• begin reverse engineering a part with 3D scanning technology,
• solve a puzzle using Lean thinking,
• “paint” fabricated metal via VR goggles,
• build a tower by applying standard decision-making processes,
• and more.
WHEN:
Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Buses will drop off students in time slots beginning at 7:30am for a 2-3 hour long experience. Each bus will be given a designated time window upon registration.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZER:
Polaris MEP is the state’s non-profit Manufacturing Extension Partnership center, mission-driven to expand the career opportunities the sector offers to Rhode Islanders.
Online registration has closed and the event is at capacity. Educators who wish to enroll, please email your request to Supriya Chaudhary. Schools will be offered a position if/ as space becomes available.
