Bring Your Students to this Interactive, Engaging Exploration of Careers Making What Matters

This Fall, Polaris MEP will once again celebrate Manufacturing Month with an event that offers students a “taste test” of manufacturing careers.
Please commit your school to participating! Younger students may find the experience influences their learning pathways. Seniors (and your team) will learn more about post-HS opportunities.
WHAT:
A highly interactive and fun career event! Stations throughout the Providence venue will give students a chance to
• code a cobot,
• begin reverse engineering a part with 3D scanning technology,
• solve a puzzle using Lean thinking,
• “paint” fabricated metal via VR goggles,
• build a tower by applying standard decision-making processes,
• and more.
WHEN:
Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Buses will drop off students in time slots beginning at 8:00am for a 2-3 hour long experience.
Each bus will be given a designated time window upon registration.
WHERE:
Farm Fresh Rhode Island, 10 Sims Avenue, Providence, RI 02909
HOW:
