Each year, surveyed students before and after the event to understand the current outlook of the manufacturing industry among Rhode Island’s youth. The results?:
- 📈 Increased the overall awareness of manufacturing jobs by 15 points.
- 📊 Eliminated the overall percentage of students who didn’t believe manufacturing offered interesting and rewarding careers.
- Decreased the percentage of students who ruled out pursuing a manufacturing career.
- Eliminated the percentage of students who disagreed that manufacturing jobs could be creative, innovative and employ problem-solving skills.
- 📊 Created the biggest increase among 9th and 11th graders motivated to pursue a manufacturing career.
