The Ocean Economy is central to Rhode Island’s identity and economic future.

This series is a collaboration between Innovate Newport, and Grow Blue, with support for statewide programming provided by The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce, Ocean Tech Hub, 401 Tech Bridge and Polaris MEP.

DESIGN WEEK RI 2024

September 13th-20th is officially DESIGN WEEK RI 2024, the 11th annual celebration of design in Rhode Island featuring designers, creatives, and entrepreneurs! Start the week off on Friday, September 13th at the Kickoff Party at Moniker Brewery, followed by 2.5 days of Open Studios Weekend across the state from September 13th through Sunday, September 15th, featuring over 60 studios.

Then, starting Monday, September 16th, check out the exciting Weekday Events around the state, from talks and tours to workshops and family activities, including keynote speaker Cey Adams–the artist who designed hip-hop’s visual language–and a special Gallery Night PVD x DESIGN WEEK RI event. The full calendar of events will launch August 5th on www.designweekri.com.

The festivities will end with “Week Night,” a fabulous celebration on Friday, September 20th at 195 District Park, hosted with RI Fashion Week and RI Startup Week. Mark your calendar now so you don’t miss this annual celebration of design in Rhode Island.
