Plans are being explored/formed to outfit space at 50 Sims thanks to federal EDA and Rhode Island Commerce Corporation funding awards (the 401 Tech Bridge Advanced Materials and Technology Center project).
Please register to hear updates about the progress towards realizing the potential of the current “Shed” at 50 Sims Avenue, Providence, and how it can best promote quality jobs, boost RI’s economy and serve the needs of many communities.
The agenda includes interactive gathering of perspectives, followed by comments and insights from Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse plus RI Secretary of Commerce Liz Tanner. A community partner will share their thoughts and all are invited for tours of the “Shed” following the program.

COMFORT/ PARKING
- The space is heated but leans on the colder side, bring layers!
- The space has an accessible entrance and parking. There is on-street parking. There is overhead lighting in the meeting space.
- If sensitive to noise, bring earplugs. There is considerable background noise in the space, such as fans, pipes, and air compressors.
