Understanding where the gaps in the manufacturing industry are is imperative to the missions of Polaris MEP and JARC RI. We invite you to be a part of our Industry Advisory Council so we can hear directly from you what’s working and what needs work when it comes to workforce.

- How do Industry Partners use Robotic Technologies, including Automated Processes and PLC’s? (Robotic Welders, CNC FMS, Fabrication, Assembly, Packaging?)
- Where are the Skills Gaps? Identify skills sets, occupations and career paths. Thoughts on industry credentials.
- Preliminary thoughts on equipment, software, etc.
- Can we form a working group that will work support Guy and Miles as we develop the curricula and training manual?
- Do IAC members have skills gaps in welding processes, including GMAW, SMAW, etc.?
- Would IAC be open to an overview of our GMAW Welder Track in CMP (Chicago, Baltimore)?
- Should we consider developing a GMAW Welder Track for CMP in RI?
