The Rhode Island Textile Innovation Network (RITIN) invites all Ocean State textiles manufacturers to join the quarterly meeting, to be held at Colonial Mills.

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse: AGENDA:

Check in begins at 1:30pm. The program will be highly interactive, with opportunities to brainstorm, collaborate and discuss.

2:00pm – Tour of Colonial Mills
2:20pm – Program 

  • Senator Sheldon Whitehouse – updates from Washington, conversation about Rhode Island priorities and challenges
  • Presentation on how to atrract and support younger textiles manufacturing professionals
  • Discussion on current efforts to to create online community connections for RI textile companies
  • Steering Committee suggestions concerning a federal “ask” for funding to beef up the textile testing capabilities in RI
