Solution

Polaris MEP began preparing Applied Radar for ISO 9001:2008 registration, working with management and non-management personnel to identify and implement improvement measures. During the initial stages of the engagement, ISO released the 9001:2015 standard, and Polaris MEP adjusted its training and facilitation methods to address the updated requirements.

Leveraging decades of QMS expertise and knowledge, the experts from Polaris MEP helped Applied Radar to make process and documentation improvements in compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, now with a heavier focus on risk. They worked together to develop impacts, measures, and outcomes from project initiatives, communicating progress on a formal and regular basis. Applied Radar invested in employee training to improve workforce practices, and upgraded its information systems to support sustainability. Obtaining certification to the ISO 9001:2015 standard improved sales for the company, and Applied Radar added jobs to keep up with demand.
