Rhode Island College – Langevin Center for Design, Innovation & Advanced Manufacturing

  • Advanced Manufacturing is the future! The Langevin Center for Design, Innovation, and Advanced Manufacturing at Rhode Island College and the Rhode Island STEAM Center are pleased to offer advanced manufacturing and design activities throughout the day. Business owners, teachers, students, and others are invited to tour our facility and explore modern advanced manufacturing systems. The event will also feature the Mobile Maker Lab developed by IYRS, Polaris MEP, Rhode Island College, and the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation. Demonstrations include 3D-printing, Laser cutting, CNC operations, and Robotics programming. Join us in WHIPPLE HALL, ROOM 101 for an exciting day of Manufacturing Activities! We are glad to have the eNow Energy Solar Demonstration Van joining us for MFG Day Events!

Rhode Island Manufacturers Association – Manufacturing Week Kickoff

  • Manufacturing Week Kickoff – The Rhode Island Manufacturers Association (RIMA) and the Museum of Work & Culture located in Woonsocket are hosting a kickoff of Manufacturing Week! They invite all manufacturers to join us for a tour of the museum and the opportunity to network. Admission to the museum, tour, networking and refreshments will be served at no charge. Donations are requested to benefit the museum.

East Bay Chamber of Commerce – Tour of 3 Manufacturers

  • Starting at 9:00 am at the East Bay Chamber office, we will transport attendees on a tour of three manufacturing companies located in Bristol and Warren. The facilities we’ll visit are: MF Engineering, 7 Peter Road, Bristol, Traffic Signs & Safety, 70 Ballou Boulevad, Bristol andBlount Boats, 461 Water Street, Warren. We will return to the Chamber office by noon.

Yushin America

  • Yushin America Inc. invites you to attend Manufacturing Day at our facility in Cranston, RI. We are inviting visitors to tour our facility between 9:30AM and 3:00PM and have the opportunity to see demonstrations of our robots, how we assemble our robots and production tooling we engineer and manufacture in the facility. This is a great chance to watch and learn how Yushin robots are widely utilized in real life production floors in the Plastics Industry.
