The headlines this week have been filled with news of RI’s “Reopening.”
While most of Rhode Island’s businesses have been closed as part of the effort to stem the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus, manufacturing has remained open. This is because our industry has proven itself as a safety-focused partner in responding to the pandemic.
To support companies in their continued commitment to following state requirements, Polaris MEP and RIMA today released a “Playbook” specific to manufacturing.
The Manufacturing Workplace Readiness Playbook is an interactive guide for staying safe AND staying open for business.
Manufacturers will find:
- answers to critical questions
- quick links to federal and state guidance
- checklists to serve as a starter of a COVID-19 “Control Plan”
- practical ideas based on what’s working for Rhode Island manufacturers
Download the Playbook at https://polarismep.org/ri-manufacturing-readiness-playbook/.
As guidelines from our state and federal agencies are changing frequently, Polaris MEP will work to keep this “living document” updated as changes are communicated. Manufacturers are encouraged to sign up to receive notices of new/updated versions.
